About Rocky Mountain Chocolate

In San Antonio, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Texas, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 12–10 pm. Best ice cream! One scoop is two scoops everywhere else. The staff are nice and the ice cold AC was a relief. The family liked watching the staff make the sweet treats 10-10 would recommend

I have a peanut allergy and asked if they were able to serve the ice cream from a fresh carton. They rudely said they don’t do that. Our party left very upset at the discrimination. Every ice cream store I’ve ever been to serves allergy customers from a fresh carton. Extremely disappointing experience.

I paid $15 for a chocolate and caramel apple. I went to eat it after getting home an hour after purchase and the stick slid out of the center covered in slimey mold. Opened the apple up and it was brown and squishy all through the center *note that they sliced it in store so likely saw the coloration on the inside and sold it anyway*. Obviously I cannot eat this apple so I called the store. They refused to do a refund over the phone or give me the number to someone higher up who would help me. I was told that I had to come back into the store today or tomorrow to get a replacement apple. That's all they would offer. This store is downtown which means making time to drive back downtown and paying for parking so that I can go get an edible product I already paid for. Save your money. Save your time. Save your health because they clearly have some food safety problems.

I mean the treats and apples look beautiful and delicious, and are. But the restroom come on, needs a renovation and a deep clean. It’s disgusting and those thoughts transfer to the workers and food, how can the employees use those and then go and make the treats, nasty…. Just hope us customers don’t get sick… please fix the cleanliness of the restroom. The two lady employees were very kind though. So nice.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory never disappoints! Their chocolates are rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted. The variety of treats is impressive, from chocolate-covered strawberries to fudge that melts in your mouth and zero sugar chocolates. Plus, the customer service is always friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re treating yourself or buying a gift, this place is a chocolate lover’s dream. Highly recommend!
